My Story
My name is Shantel Ferrin and I am a nonbinary, queer multidisciplinary artist. From the time I was little I wanted to be an artist, but it wasn't until college that I discovered my passion for sculpting and 3-dimensional art. I experiment with many different mediums and love to involve that in my artwork. Shanterelle was created after I thrifted a vintage mirror with cracks in the frame; I decorated it with moss, crystals, and mushrooms I had sculpted from clay, and everything evolved from there. With my background in art paired with my spiritual practices I find joy in creating beautiful works of art that can be used to bring peace and self- love to those who look within it...

Almost all of our supplies are second-hand/thrifted; we stive for continued sustainability, as well as, durability. All materials are adhered with E6000 for flexibility and strength.
